St. Francois Co., Mo. (KFMO) - The United Way of St. Francois County has awarded more than $100,000 in grants to over 30 local nonprofits and community programs for 2025.
The funding will support essential services in food, housing, health care, education, and mental health across the region. A special ceremony to honor the grant recipients will be held in June at the Farmington Public Library. Funds were raised through local initiatives like the Annual Bell Ringing Campaign, Dine Out for United Way, payroll deductions, and private donations.
United Way leaders say the grants reflect the community’s shared commitment to meeting basic human needs and building long-term resilience.
