St. Francois County Tops 2,000 Calls for Service in July

St. Francois Co., Mo. (KFMO) - The St. Francois County Sheriff's Office received 2,024 calls for service in the month of July.

Statistics are provided by the St. Francois County Central Dispatch, and cover a wide variety of incidents, the most common being traffic stops or well-being checks. Other common reasons for calling include suspicious activity, whether person or vehicle, theft, or disturbances, whether domestic or not. A miscellaneous category is also included for general inquiries or calls that do not fall into any other category. This number is up from June, when the county received 1,842 calls for service.
