Potosi Elks Backpack Program Getting Ready for New Year

Potosi, Mo. (KFMO) - The Potosi Elks Lodge Backpack School Food program is getting ready for the new school year.

Randy Eaton is with the Potosi Elks lodge. He says the community support they receive helps them continue helping children in need.

According to Eaton, they'll be packing over 400 backpacks each week for kids in the program. The food goes to underprivileged children who may not have enough food for one meal a day over the weekend when school is in session.
