New McDonald’s in Leadington Nears Grand Opening

Leadington, Mo. (KFMO) - The new McDonald’s in Leadington is just weeks away from opening its doors.

Owner Chrissy Hurst says the project is moving quickly, and the addition of the fast-food chain could have a positive economic impact beyond just burgers and fries.

Hurst says they expect to receive the keys to the building on July 10, with plans to officially open the location to the public on July 17. She believes the new McDonald’s will not only serve local customers but may also attract other businesses to the area.
