Farmington Man Seriously Injured, Arrested for DWI After Rollover Crash in Ste. Genevieve County

Ste. Genevieve Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A Farmington man was seriously injured in a crash Friday night in Ste. Genevieve County and later arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened at around 10:30 p.m. Friday on northbound Highway F, north of Coffman Road. Troopers say 47-year-old Kory A. Bonacker was driving a 2014 Hyundai Elantra when he failed to negotiate a curve to the left, causing the vehicle to travel off the right side of the roadway. The car struck a mailbox, hit a culvert, and overturned. Bonacker, who was not wearing a seatbelt, sustained serious injuries and was flown by Air Evac to SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital in St. Louis.

The Patrol reports that Bonacker was later arrested on a patrol charge of driving while intoxicated. He was released for medical treatment.
