Missouri Highway Patrol Releases 2025 School Bus Inspection Results

Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - The Missouri State Highway Patrol has completed its 2025 Annual School Bus Inspections, ensuring that buses used to transport students meet critical safety standards. The inspections assess the mechanical condition of each bus, requiring repairs for any defects and mandatory reinspections for buses placed out-of-service.

Buses identified with defective components must be repaired within 10 days. Any bus placed out-of-service due to safety concerns cannot return to the road until the issue is corrected and verified by Patrol personnel.

Here are the inspection results for area school districts:

  • Bismarck R-V: 8 buses inspected; 87.5% approved, 12.5% defective, 0% out-of-service
  • Farmington R-VII: 38 buses inspected; 100% approved
