Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - The intersection at East Main Street and Flat River Drive is officially back open to traffic, just in time for the holiday. City officials say the much-anticipated roadwork has been completed, with striping finished and traffic lights fully operational.
Originally slated to take four to six weeks, the project wrapped up in less than two, thanks to the fast and efficient work of Kimes Contracting. The upgrades were designed to improve traffic flow and safety at one of the city’s busiest intersections.
Motorists are now free to travel through the area without detours, and local leaders are praising the contractor for beating the deadline by a wide margin.
