Bismarck, Mo. (KFMO) - Officers with the Bismarck Police Department arrested a Tier 3 Registered Sex Offender during a warrant operation on July 10, 2025 and are now searching for a second suspect who remains at large.
Police responded to the 1100 block of Elm Street to serve an arrest warrant on Arlie Davis. Davis was wanted on two St. Francois County Court warrants for Failure to Appear on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The combined bond on the warrants was set at $80,000. Davis was taken into custody without incident and transported to the St. Francois County Jail. While at the residence, officers discovered narcotics and drug paraphernalia.
A second individual at the scene, Eddie Ames, was released pending further investigation.
The following day, an arrest warrant was issued for Ames on charges of Possession of Narcotics and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Efforts to locate and arrest Ames on July 11 and 12, were unsuccessful. Authorities believe Ames may have fled the area to avoid arrest.
