St. Louis, Mo. (KFMO) – The St. Louis Cardinals and San Diego Padres split a four game series over the weekend with the Cardinals picking up wins on Thursday and Friday, while the Padres got the better of the birds Saturday and Sunday.
The Cardinals remain a game above .500 (54-53) with the MLB Trade Deadline approaching on Thursday, July 31.
St. Louis, seeming to lean on the side of selling at the deadline, are reported to be listening to offers on a majority of players on the MLB roster. The organization traded Erick Fedde to Atlanta on Sunday for either cash consideration or a player to be named later.
Fedde was designated for assignment last week.
The Cardinals host the Miami Marlins in a three game series that begins Monday on B104.3 at 5:50p.m.
