St. Louis, Mo. (KFMO) - The St. Louis Battlehawks saw their season come to an unceremonious end Sunday, losing to the DC Defenders 36-18 in the XFL Conference Championship game.
The Battlehawks strugged to contain the running game throughout, and weren't able to stop former St. Louis quarterback Jordan Ta'amu, who leads DC into next week's championship game.
St. Louis ends its season at 8-3. The Defenders take on the Michigan Panthers in next weekend's UFL Championship game. That game will be played at the Dome in St. Louis.
