Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - Two employees of Mineral Area College have been awarded the college's Champion of Excellence Award, recognizing the efforts that they have put in toward making the college a better place to learn.
Rodney Wilson, a professor of history and political science, was one of the recipients. Mineral Area College President Dr. Joe Gilgour says Wilson's dedication to his job is a primary factor in his receiving the honor.
Also receiving the award was Workforce Training and Development Specialist Chris Klusmeyer. Gilgour says the nominator appreciated Klusmeyer's efforts as expansion of that department continues.
The Champion of Excellence Award is given out at each monthly meeting of the MAC Board of Trustees, and is given out based on the nominations of other MAC employees.
