St. Francois County Walk Next Monday

St. Francois Co., Mo. (KFMO) - Join a Horticulture Specialist from the MU Extension Office for a walk through Owl Creek Park this Monday, July 21.

Participants will have an opportunity to explore the park, enjoy nature, and ask questions about the plants growing in their community. The walk will begin at 8 a.m. at the park's main entrance.

Extension & Engagement Specialist Kendra Graham says participants will be joined by Katie Kammler, the office's horticulture specialist.

Paricipants are asked to bring a water bottle and outdoor necessities, such as sunscreen, and to wear comfortable clothing. Monday's walk is a part of the MU Extension Office's 100 Miles, 100 Days, a program which began in June.
