Potosi, Mo. (KFMO) - Authorities are surveying the damage done to roads and buildings in Potosi following Tuesday's severe weather.
Potosi Police Chief Michael Gum says the main issue is the aftermath of the rain, including flash flooding. While the storms did bring some wind damage, including an alleged tornado on the south side of Potosi, Gum says it was mostly limited to the outskirts of city limits, and that some reports have been exaggerated.
Gum says road crews are out checking on the integrity of the roads, ensuring that they are in good condition following the flooding.
