Disaster Declaration Approved for Parts of Missouri

Washington, D.C. (KFMO) - FEMA announced Wednesday that federal disaster assistance will be made available to the state of Missouri to supplement recovery efforts in the areas affected severe storms and flooding from May 23-26, 2025.

Public Assistance federal funding will be available to the state and eligible local governments and certain private nonprofit organizations on a cost-sharing basis for emergency work and the repair or replacement of facilities damaged by the severe storms and flooding. Areas included in the declaration are Dade, Douglas, Ozark, Vernon and Webster counties.
