Local Lawmakers Speak at Desloge Chamber Luncheon

Desloge, Mo. (KFMO) - Local legislators met with business and community leaders during the Desloge Chamber of Commerce’s monthly luncheon on Tuesday.

State Representative Becky Laubinger of the 117th District and State Senator Mike Henderson of the 3rd District spoke during the event, sharing updates from the recent legislative session in Jefferson City. A representative from Congressman Jason Smith’s office also provided an update on how recent federal legislation passed in Washington, D.C. could impact Missourians.

Chamber Executive Director Cheri Henderson said events like this provide a valuable opportunity for lawmakers to hear directly from the people they represent.

The Desloge Chamber holds its luncheon on the first Tuesday of each month, bringing together civic, business, and government leaders to discuss key issues affecting the region.
