Cobalt Village, Mo. (KFMO) - A Fredericktown woman was moderately injured in a two-vehicle crash Monday afternoon at the intersection of Mulberry Street and Hickory Street in Cobalt Village.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened at 1:10 p.m. when a 2017 Chevrolet Trax driven by a 34-year-old woman failed to yield to a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado. The vehicles collided as the Trax was heading north and the Silverado was traveling west.
The driver of the Trax, who was wearing a seatbelt, sustained moderate injuries and was transported by EMS to Mercy Hospital South in Festus. The Silverado’s driver, a 53-year-old Fredericktown man, was not injured and was able to drive away from the scene. The Trax was totaled and towed from the scene.
