Kansas City, Mo. (KFMO) - The Kansas City Chiefs have resigned star defensive lineman George Karlaftis to a 4-year deal worth $93 million.
Karlaftis, 24, was one of two first-round picks for the Chiefs in the 2022 NFL Draft. Since then, he has recorded 115 combined tackles and 24.5 sacks.
Included in the deal is $62 million guaranteed. The deal runs through the 2030 season. Karlaftis' resigning makes him the latest Chief to commit to the team long-term, following guard Trey Smith, who signed a deal to become the highest-paid interior lineman in NFL history last week.
